Budapest Opera House
This magnificent structure in Budapest is one of the most jaw dropping buildings in Europe. Opened in the late 1800’s, it was home to the administrate duties of the Austro-Hungarian era in the early years. Designed by Miklós Ybl, Europe’s leading architect at the time, the venue quickly became one of most important musical institutions not only in Hungary, but in the whole of Europe.
The Budapest Opera House has an auditorium that caters for over 1100 visitors so there will be plenty of space for you and your group when you visit. Important statues in front of the Opera House include the well-known Hungarian composers Ferenc Erkel and Ferenc Liszt.
An advantage of staying at Fraser Residence Budapest over other hotels is our great transport links to this attraction and others in the city. From our serviced apartments, take a cab via Baross u. and arrive at the Opera House in around 12 minutes. If you fancy being a bit more adventurous, ride the subway from Klinikák, which is a 6 minute walk from our accommodation. Ride the subway till Arany János utca and after a stroll lasting no more than 7 minutes you will arrive at the attraction.
We should be the only choice when booking accommodation in the city. Ideal for families or the single traveller, each of our Gold-Standard rooms are spacious, modern and each have their own kitchen area, living and dining space.
We suggest staying in one of 2 bedroom apartments as they have that extra space for large families or groups. Furthermore, our 24/7 reception, continental breakfast and Wi-Fi throughout the apartment building will add to your experience.
